General Responsibilities:

5. Prepare for and assist the Radiologist in the completion of intricate mammography examinations, including breast biopsies, providing necessary support and ensuring accurate image acquisition.
6. Produce high-quality films for the radiologist to evaluate, ensuring optimal image clarity and resolution.
7. Complete appropriate documentation, accurately recording patient information, procedure details, and any significant findings.
8. Perform quality control functions related to mammography, ensuring equipment is properly calibrated and maintained for accurate imaging.
9. Review and evaluate the film or image recording plate to determine if images are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes, ensuring image quality meets the required standards.
10. Follow infection control and safety guidelines, maintaining a sterile and safe environment for both patients and staff.
